OiEau in brief CREATION MAIN OBJECTIVE ORGANIZATION OF THE TEAMS STATUTE WORKFORCE & LOCATIONS FUNCTIONING OF BODIES The Board of Directors is made up of 28 members representing various types of structures: international organizations, the French public sector, federations of local elected representatives, research institutions, private companies, representatives of French Ministries (Foreign and European Affairs, Agriculture, Foreign Trade, Ecological and Inclusive Transition, Industry, Health). Their appointment is pronounced by their respective colleges in a General Assembly. In 2019, it met on 13 June. The meeting of 19 December was postponed until January 2020, due to a transport strike in France. The Board of Directors convened two extraordinary General Assemblies on 30 April and 13 June. An Ordinary General Assembly also took place on 13 June. The President, Mr. Pascal BERTEAUD, represents the Association in all acts of civil life. The Managing director, Mr. Eric TARDIEU, was appointed by the Board of Directors on 1 st July 2017. It was born from the merger of 3 organizations: the Water Institute or Water Foundation (Limoges); the International Training Center for Water Resource Management (Sophia Antipolis) and the French Association for the Study of Water (Paris). Development of skills for better water management in France, Europe and around the world. Non-profit Association under French Law. State- approved by Decree of 13 September 1991. Nearly 140 employees spread over 4 locations in France. 45,000m 2 of educational units in Limoges and La Souterraine (France). 4
