In addition to the technical and operational aspects, we know that this tool is a vector for sharing and promoting knowledge, for better water governance. We are doing here a work of public utility. » Ms Debray, Geomatics specialist - OiEau I nformation has encountered and is still encountering deep changes linked to the advent and the quick evolution of new technologies. This revolution is accompanied by great challenges: the challenge of collecting, processing and enhancing data; challenge of knowledge sharing and transfer; challenge of the establishment, management and interoperability of Information Systems and other digital media… And above all, the challenge of making them decision- making tools for good governance of water resources and their environment. OiEau, established 29 years ago from the merger of 3 organizations including the French Association for the Water Study, has accompanied these changes and is today at the forefront of innovations to meet the needs of stakeholders in public and private sectors, in France and worldwide. In a spirit of general interest, OiEau is committed to producing collective intelligence, a real source of performance and creator of value.
